Footprints in the Sand Ministries:
Carrying Those Who Are Left Behind
Carrying Those Who Are Left Behind
After the Lord called her beloved mother, the late Mary Louise Edmonds, home 27 years ago on February 5, 1995, Pastor Carla looked back and wondered how she got over; how she made it through one of the most difficult times of her life without her mommy.
After 27 years of no longer hearing her voice, no longer feeling her hugs, and no longer being able to call her for motherly advice, Pastor Carla started reflecting on how she began to look to the hills from whence cometh her help and that her help cometh from the Lord and that it was the Footprints in the Sands that carried her after losing her mommy. It was also the same set of footprints that carried her when God booked her beloved dad's aka dude, the late Deacon James Edmonds one way flight home to the other side on October 1, 2011, and her beloved bff of over 35 years, Mother Virginia aka Ginny Hale on Labor Day, September 5, 2016. Subsequently, the Lord laid The Footprints in the Sand Ministries: carrying those who are left behind on Pastor Carla's heart to bring comfort to bereaving families that when you see only one set of footprints in the sand that He carried you because He will never leave or forsake you. There will be times, especially when the "firsts" come around without the physical presence of your loved one: the first birthday, the first mother's day, the first father's day, the first anniversary, the first family reunion, and/or the first holiday and you may need someone to talk to and/or pray with you. Please know that we are here to lift up you and yours up in prayer as we are also in the process of setting up a Footprints in the Sand support group and one-on-one grief mentoring with Pastor Carla for caring and sharing so that you know that you are not alone is available. Please contact Pastor Carla at 1-800-877-9795 or email her at [email protected] and we will get back to you shortly. |
In loving memory of my mommy, my daddy and my bff Ginny as I humbly thank God for being my footprints in the sand when loving memories roll down my cheeks as tears!
