Butterfly Creed
I am a Child of the most high, the Daughter of the most High, therefore I operate in the spirit of excellence; carrying myself in an exemplary fashion at all times because as Christ loved the church He too loves me with an unconditional love that will not fail, will not waver and is everlasting. As iron sharpens iron, so a woman sharpens the countenance of her friends. Therefore I will only associate with like-minded butterflies that want the best for me who also have mine and others' best interests at heart. I will respect my mind, respect my body, respect my heart and know that I am God’s perfect creation. Not believing the negative things others have said about me because I am a new creature in Jesus Christ and I am not defined by my past but destined for my future. I will rest securely in the truth that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of Christ. God wants the best for me and so do I. I am His treasured possession. Like a beautiful butterfly I will soar; I will spread my wings and fly! |
The Stages of a Butterfly:
1. The adult butterfly lays her eggs.
2. Butterfly eggs hatch into caterpillars.
3. Dormant stage of change.
4. Butterfly emerges.
